This is the final installment of our POST #HOTWMD (House on the Waterfront) series entitled The Groove Station, as we are closing out for this year. We invite you all for an entire day of family, friends, music, food, and everything else under the umbrella of a party. So far the music has been incredible, the weather great and the vibe just right!

Let us take you further in this musical experience by changing up some things! We are moving the Groove Station to Ft, Washington MD. a better spot for you to get your dance on.
Free parking, 2.5 acres of green grass, picnic tables, and plenty of space to bring your small canopies, tents, and chairs. and yard games.

*Damage is $5 with a #HOTWMD wristband and $10 without for entry and additional donations will be accepted for our event in 2024.
*Dinner and beverages will be available for sale.
*Free Parking

#HOTWMD 2023 – Thank YOU!

HOTWMD (House on the Waterfront Weekender) would like to officially thank everyone from A to Z and from Z to A that came out for what was a wonderful day filled with sunshine, fellowship, music, food & vendors. The dancers and those that came out to just relax and hear music for a day, YOU are what makes this event special for us. We love you all and you guys are special!

We’re excited to present “Denim Drip” as the theme for House on the Waterfront Weekender this year! Come show off your coolest denim attire and enter the Denim Drip Walk Off – with prizes for the best dressed! Plus, with your ticket purchase, you’re automatically entered into our HOTWMD Basket raffle full of swag. And to top it all off, enjoy delicious appetizers by Chef Lenny Robinson and beverages by Artina Nelson Bell.

Denim Drip is all about the right vibe, and we have picked a venue that we feel adds to the experience, plenty of dance space on the main floor, contemporary artwork, and graphics adorn the second floor with mood lighting and if you want to take a break from your dancing you can enjoy the outdoor rooftop patio.

The Djs setting the tone for this event is none other than Danny Arrington, Musa Stretch, and Dj Smoove. You don’t want to miss the Denim Drip experience!

House on the Waterfront Weekender Finale SUNDAY, AUGUST 13, 2023 AT 11 AM – 7:30 PM at Bladensburg Waterfront Park MD

#HotWMD House on the Waterfront Weekender-MD is an annual event that brings together music lovers, artists, and party-goers for a weekend of fun. This year’s Finale at Bladensburg Waterfront Park is free and offers music, art, food, shopping, and a beautiful waterfront landscape. The lineup is packed with talented DJs, musicians, and artists, providing an unforgettable experience for music and dance lovers alike.

Delivering music selections are Angel Marie (Blue Angel), Tynisa Myty Bobbitt (Dj Myty), tag team Musa Black & Danny Arrington, DjWakeel Ali,, and a closing set by Geoffrey Cee. Performances by Tamara Wellons & Cyberjamz Records’ own Ms.Yazz Roar Roar Msyazz – House is Power!

This FREE event goes on rain or shine, so bring your tents, rain, and protective gear. The Waterfront Park has a large pavilion, so if it rains we will party like we used to under the Pavilion unless there is thunder and lightning.
